4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal or health data. We may share information with:

  • Service providers: Cloud hosting (for data storage), payment processors (Google Play, Apple, Stripe), analytics providers
  • AI processing: Anonymized medication queries sent to OpenAI for AI features. No personally identifiable information is included in AI requests.

  • Family members: Only when you explicitly create a family group and invite members

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including 256-bit TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage at rest, secure API authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal and health data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

MedRemind is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Family plans allow parents or guardians to manage medication schedules for minors under their supervision.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
